Steven Ray McKenzie, 22, of Beaufort, died Monday, June 1, 2020.
Steven was born on October 7, 1997 in Waynesboro, Georgia to Eugene and Aimee McKenzie. He is survived by them as well as his siblings Michael, Jessica, Camille and Spencer. He grew up between North and South Carolina where he spent most of his time with his large family or getting involved with anything car related from admiring the 1971 Plymouth Hemi Cuda to getting down and dirty with his tools. He leaves behind a fianc??e, Julia Trask, and his two sons, Wyatt and Rowan. He loved his sons dearly and was nothing less than a great father.
Steven was a fun-loving, head-strong, honest man who was always there for his family and never gave up when he set his mind on something. We love him tremendously and will never forget him.
The funeral service for Steven will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 6, 2020 at Copeland Funeral Service Chapel. Burial will follow in Beaufort Memorial Gardens.
