BEAUFORT - Susan E. Bass, 53, of Beaufort, died Monday, December 15, 2014, at Beaufort Memorial Hospital.
Born in Cheraw, South Carolina, she was a daughter of the late Carroll Bass and the late Miriam Gibson Bass.
Surviving are a sister, Sheila Sofaly and her husband, Bob, of Beaufort, and a brother, Charlie Bass and his wife, Lana, of Ayden, North Carolina.
The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 o'clock Friday, December 19, 2014, at Brown-Pennington-Atkins Funeral Home in Hartsville.
The funeral service will be held at 2 o'clock Friday, December 19, 2014, at Brown-Pennington-Atkins Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at New Providence Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family request that memorials be made to Brain Injury Association of South Carolina - Post Office Box 21523, Columbia, South Carolina 29221.
The family would like to thank Susan's many loving caregivers who have helped her over the years.
