Wilbur Stan Brown, 70, of Bluffton and formerly of John's Island, husband of Gail Gibbons Brown, died Thursday, December 21, 2017, at his residence.
Stan served in Viet Nam as a Staff Sergeant in the United States Air Force. He was also owner and operator of Stan Brown Realty.
Surviving in addition to his wife of 43 years is a brother, Stephen A. Brown (Pat); a sister, Wanda Markham (Jerry); a sister-in-law, Donna Bozman (Ben), and a number of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 o'clock Wednesday, December 27, 2017, at James A. McAlister Funeral Home - 1620 Savannah Highway - Charleston, South Carolina.
The family will have a private memorial service to be held at a later date.
Memorials may be made to Tidewater Hospice - 10 Buckingham Plantation Drive, Suite A, Bluffton, South Carolina 29910.
