Wayne 'Moe' Mulholland, 76, of Lady's Island and husband of Shirley Garrett Mulholland, died Friday, July 28, 2017, at Beaufort Memorial Hospital.
Born in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, Wayne was a son of the late Merle and Helen Whentsel Mulholland. He served in the United States Army Security Agency during the Cold War. He was a structural designer working with various agencies during his career. Wayne was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church.
Wayne is survived by his wife of 39 years; a son, Chris and his wife, Sharon Mulholland; a grandson, Shea Mulholland; a granddaughter, Ellen Mulholland; a sister, Carol Swan, and his favorite pets Buddy and Gretchen.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 o'clock Tuesday, August 1, 2017, at St. Peter's Catholic Church. Burial will be held at 1 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at Beaufort National Cemetery with Army honors.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions be made to St. Peter's Catholic Church.
