Yvonne Slominski

Yvonne Slominski, 70, of Beaufort, South Carolina and wife of Maxmillian Slominski, passed away Monday, May 16, 2016, at Beaufort Memorial Hospital. They shared 52 beautiful years as husband and wife. Yvonne was born in Hudson, New York and was a daughter of the late Clinton and Doris Snyder. She and her Husband, Max, took over his family's bakery business around 1975 until it closed in 1998. They later retired to Bluffton South Carolina in 2000. Yvonne was a gentle woman with a kind soul who took great delight in spending time with her family. She had a huge heart for animals and would take in those who had lost their way. She loved to read romance novels and complete the daily word puzzles. Yvonne is survived by her husband, Max; four children, Aimee Weber of Hardeeville, South Carolina, Stephanie Slominski of Delmar, New York, Shamus Slominski of Cumming, Georgia and Jaimey Slominski of Pine Plains, New York; nine grandchildren and one sister, Pam Meehan of New York. The family will receive friends from 3 until 4 o'clock Friday afternoon, June 3, 2016, at Copeland Funeral Service - One Copeland Drive. A memorial service will be held at 4 o'clock Friday afternoon, June 3, 2016, in the chapel of Copeland Funeral Service.
